Peacefully passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Thursday, July 19, 2012 surrounded by his family and friends. Loving father of Julianna and best friend of Elsie Petiquan. Son of the late Alfred and Theresa Alton. Dear brother of Rebecca Matheson (George), Mary Bingham (John), Linda, Kim, Brian, Mike, Jerry (Pam), Tammy Jeffery (Kevin) and Shawn (Tiana). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Special friend of Al and Cindy Stobie, John and Karen Steele and Paul Meusier and family. A gathering will take place at Stobies Family Restaurant (Desbarats) to celebrate Joe’s life on Sunday, July 22, 2012 at 1 pm. Memorial contributions to the Sault Ste.
