
The Men's 40+ summer Slo-Pitch league held their end-of-season tournament and banquet this past Saturday.
The Special Olympics, one of the teams in the league, were this year's recipient of the prestigious "Ken McBride" award.
The award is given out to the team voted to demonstrate the best spirit and to be the most enjoyable to play against. Accepting the award on behalf of the Special Olympics team are: Left (Warren), and Right (Matt).
Presenting the award this year is Tom Brown, Coordinator of the Algonquin Bandits Ball Team and host of this year's banquet.
