The Sault College Cougars visited the Algoma University Thunderbirds in Men's Basketball action at the George Leach Centre Wednesday night.The next scheduled game between the two teams is February 17 at Sault College and will be the final game of the regular season for both teams.

Jason Ledgister led in scoring for Sault College with 12 points while Algoma University's Reynaldo Carnakie and Jovain Wilson scored 20 and 18 points respectively. The score was 29-19 at Halftime for the Algoma University Thunderbirds but they would pull away in the Second Half and go on to defeat the Cougars 84-45.

The same two teams matched up in Women's Basketball action with Algoma U also coming out on top 58-31 over Sault College.
