The Talent Identification and Development Program is an "athlete-centred" model designed to provide young, developing athletes with the opportunity to develop personal, social and athletic skills through involvement in programs which stress teamwork, leadership and learning.Mission
"To create a seamless delivery system that provides athletes with the opportunity to develop through skill introduction, programs that develop team concepts, advanced training and elite competition, all the while providing athletes with the opportunity for National team exposure, identification and integration."

Girls U12 Tryouts
The first stage of the U12 TID program is an open local tryout, free of charge. This tryout will be held in Sault Ste. Marie on Sunday April 15th from 1 to 3pm at Sault College. All female athletes born in 2000 and 2001 that are interested in basketball are encouraged to attend the session.
Head Coach for the North Region's U12 girls team will be Bruce Bourget. If for some reason you cannot attend the local tryout but are still interested in the program, please contact Coach Bourget at bourgeb@rainbowschools.ca.
