The High school NOSSA Track and field meet was in town this Wednesday and wrapped up on Thursday, taking place at the Dipietro field at the John Rhodes Centre. Once again our athletes had a strong showing during the event.



NOSA 3

Junior 400 Meter Hurdles

Lydia Murray won two of her events, the Women 400 Meter Dash Midget with a time of 1:01.65. Murray also won the, Woman 800 Meter Run Midget and while doing so set a new NOSSA record with a time of 2:25.47. Murrays’ record comes a week after she set the city record in the Women 800 Meter Run Midget.



Sarah Hammond also won her two events, the Women 100 Meter Dash Junior, and the Women 80 Meter Hurdles Junior.



Eve Boissonneault took both, the Women 800 Meter Run Senior and the 1500 Meter Run Senior.

Corey Conforzi Men 100 Meter Dash Senior



Barak Bordin Men 110 Meter Hurdles Senior



Sam Taylor Men 2000 Meter Steeplechase Open





All the winners will be heading to Brockville June 7, 8 & 9th for the OFSAA Track and Field meet.
