
Thanks in part to a new city record St. Paul cruised to the aggregate title in the HSCDSB City Elementary East Zone Track & Field Meet on Wednesday, June 13.
The Patriots' Emily Calibani established a new record in the Bantam Girls Triple Jump with a distance of 10.04 metres. The record came in one of three events Calibani won.
Finishing second in the team standings was St. Mary's French Immersion while St. Patrick took third place.

Another record was broken in the PeeWee Girls 800 metres as Kara Neveau covered the distance in 2 minutes and 44 seconds. It was one of two events Neveau won in the division. Taryn Lamorie from St. Paul won three events in the same age group.
The top three finishers in each event move on to the City Elementary Track Finals on Wednesday, June 20th.
