This is the scene where a southbound vehicle left the highway striking a number of guardposts and landing on it's roof just before 5 p.m. Sunday about a kilometre north of Wawa on Highway 17.
From the brake marks on the highway, the southbound vehicle entered the northbound lane, then crossed back into the proper lane, then hit the shoulder, breaking ten (10) guardposts before coming to rest on it's roof. There was smoke coming from the exhaust, and it appears that members of the Wawa Fire Department - shut the vehicle off.
