Ever since 1999 Bar1s Private Personal Training Fitness Studio has been a staple on Queen Street. Being locally owned and operated by Joe Barone. Joe is a graduate from LSSU with a background in Exercise Science and Sports Medicine. He was also the first person to establish a Private Personal Training Fitness Studio in Sault Ste. Marie.
Bar1s has come a long way since 1999. Now called Bar1s Urban Fitness, located at 677 Great Northern Road. It is a full open concept Boutique Fitness Studio, focused on providing upscale service, personalized attention and efficient personal training. It offers everything from private 1-on-1 training to your general memberships. The studio also offers three private training rooms.

Bar1s Urban Fitness has all new state of the art strength equipment and cardio machines. One of Bar1s amenities offered is a fuel bar for those early morning coffees, cappuccinos or perhaps a smoothie. They also offer a towel service, which is included in your membership. Bar1s Urban Fitness offers a variety of membership options to suit everyone’s needs.
