The Canada Day long weekend is fast approaching and the Sault Ste. Marie OPP will be targeting local roadways, waterways and trails.Several complaints have been received regarding driving behaviour on Highway 563 in Fisher Township.
Last weekend a serious motor vehicle collision occurred on that Highway involving several youths that could have ended in more tragic results.
Those who drive aggressively or distracted, not wearing seatbelts, impaired by alcohol or drugs and drive while under suspension or disqualified all contribute to senseless fatalities and injuries.
