Representatives from Tarbutt Tarbutt Additional informs local2news that a fire ban has been imposed on that township effective immediately. The fire ban means no outside burning of any kind.
Recent hot and dry weather has forced many townships in the area as well as the City of Sault Ste. Marie to impose fire bans.
Rain is forecast for the area later tonight and into Saturday.
However all fire bans remain in place until further notice
