On the 11 August 2012 City Police responded to an erratic driver complaint in the downtown area. Police located the vehicle in a parking lot and the driver was spoken to at a local downtown tavern. The driver was found to be intoxicated and the police warned him to take a cab or get a ride home. In fact, the police called a cab for the man. The man waited until he thought police had left the area and got into his vehicle and attempted to drive away.
Arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle, consuming over the legal limit and resisting arrest is Darren Duane Wilson (age 45). His vehicle was impounded and he will be appearing in court on September 10th, 2012.
