Three of Canada's most popular tv stars are heading to Sault Ste. Marie on Monday, and they need you.
As first reported by local2.ca, a new film production, SwearNet, featuring the the three main Trailer Park Boys characters, Julian,, Bubble and Ricky will be in Sault Ste. Marie starting Monday and the film needs about 300 unpaid extras for scenes to be shot at the Essar Centre. The movie will shoot here from August 20 to September 19.
Posted on the Sault Film Community's facebook page yesterday, a release is calling for 300 hockey fans extras next Thursday and Friday while "race fans" are required August 28, 29 and September 4.
Those interested should indicate what dates they are available for. The open extra casting call requires you to be 16 years or older and be familiar with Trailer Boys content.

According to the website, SWEARNET is a broadband-based network launching in 2013 from the stars of 'Trailer Park Boys'. SWEARNET has a variety of programming similar to what you might find on one of the major networks, except that on SWEARNET, every person on every show is 'allowed' to talk the way people really talk.
Trailer Park Boys became an international hit with tv viewers and has become one of the most popular tv exports from Canada. The series ran for 7 seasons on Showcase and is also seen in the U.S. and around the world.
