One would think that with all the rain lately, the water levels would be normal or high, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
Edie Suriano from the Bushplane Heritage Centre sends in these photos taken Monday morning.
"We came into work this morning and the first thing we noticed was the water level is lowest it has ever been. Our floating docks are no longer floating, planes are sitting on the ground and even Mr Purvis's barge is just about ground level." Surinao writes.
Low water levels can be problematic for Freighters , this past summer one of the company’s biggest vessel’s, the Paul R. Tregutha, grounded near Sault Ste. Marie on the St.Marys River that links lakes Superior and Huron. Several other ships were put on anchor waiting for water level to go up in the St.Marys River.
So where has the water gone? if you have a clue let us know.
